Nina's Coping Toolbox

🌿 Course Curriculum

For the best results, Nina’s Coping Toolbox is recommended twice a year in the fall and spring. This allows children to revisit lessons, strengthen coping strategies and self-regulation skills, and build lasting resilience over time.

Program Breakdown

Length: 10 weeks

Structure: 5 lessons per week, designed for 30 minutes a day, with flexibility to fit your schedule

Total lessons: 74+ guided learning moments

Each lesson includes:

🌬️ A Settle-In poem, calming stretches and mindful breathing, to help children get ready to learn

📖 Engaging storytelling from Nina’s diverse group of friends who make emotional learning fun and relatable

🎯 A coping tool and core SEL skill introduced through interactive activities

📝 Printable activities, joyful reflection moments, and short review quizzes that reinforce every skill

📚 Seven of our books included as easy-to-access PDFs so children can enjoy stories and coping tools right away to reinforce the skills taught

💛 Bonding moments that strengthen relationships between children and the caring adults who support them

🌿 Trauma-informed practices that help children feel emotionally safe, calm, and supported while learning
